Mr. Islam is the founder and President / CEO of AI Engineers, Inc. The firm has successfully completed numerous projects in Transit, Highway / Bridge, Transportation and Civil Engineering and Building projects since 1993 for ConnDOT, Mass Highway Department, RIDOT, NYSDOT and PANY&NJ. Mr. Islam has 24 years of experience in successfully managing design, structure condition inspection, construction management / contract administration for Highways, Bridges, Transportation, Transit, Buildings / Facilities / Utility and Municipal projects. He manages and provides quality control of complex engineering design and construction projects. These projects include the conventional design-bid-build process, as well as design-build contracts. Prior to founding AI Engineers, he worked as an engineer through project manager for top ENR Architectural/Engineering firms as well as general contracting firms.
