Amir Ul-Islam
Amir Ul-Islam is currently the President and Owner
of US based Jersey Precast (since 1997) and Concrete
Safety Systems (since 2005). He is also the Founding
Partner and Executive Director of Pakistan based
MarmOnyx, the first modern marble processing factory
in Pakistan (since 2004). His US based operations
provide architectural work and manufacture precast
products for heavy infrastructure, highway and
civil projects. Amir graduated in Civil Engineering
from NED in 1986. He then obtained a Masters in
Structures from Auburn University in Alabama,
followed by a Masters in Construction Management
from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Before
starting his own businesses, Amir worked in various
engineering and senior management positions from
1988 to 1997. Amir Ul-Islam is a Registered Professional
Engineer (PE) and was elected Publications Secretary
in the last NED Students Union of 1984-85. Amir
Ul-Islam represented NED in national swimming
and debating competitions.
