Moin Ahmed (ME, 1974)

is a member of the 2007 Convention steering committee. Currently he is working as a Senior Project Manager for a national construction management company in New York. He specializes in management of large construction projects. His present assignment includes overseeing for Port Authority of NY & NJ a $1.1 billion construction of the American Airlines Terminal at JFK Airport. His portfolio includes construction of high-rise buildings, hotels and schools.
Along with three other alumni he founded NED Alumni Association in 2002 and was instrumental in organizing the Houston and the Tri State (NY, NJ, CT) Conventions. He was one of the first to create a web presence of NED Alumni by creating and maintaining for several years the site "NED1974Mech.com" on msn. He currently maintains websites "neduniversityalumni.com" on Yahoo and "neduniversityalumni.org" from an independent server.
He has an MS from University of Washington, Seattle, where he was the President of Pakistani Students Association and held the student chair at the Board of Trustees of the University.
