Tanweer Alam Mallick
Principal, ASR Associates
Known in NED as Tanweer Alam Mohammadi (an assumed
pen-name).
Graduated in 1979 (Civil); joined the Karachi
Development Authority and worked on the Civic
Center, before moving on to NESPAK, (July 1980),
where I worked until leaving for USA in January
1988.
Chosen by Rotary International to attend The
University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, MI as a Rotary
Scholar & Ambassador of Goodwill. Earned my
Master of Science in Construction Engineering
& Management in December, 1988.
Moved to the Chicagoland area and worked with
a number of Architectural, Consulting and Engineering
Firms on a wide variety of projects until December
2002.
Listed as a Member in the National Registers
Whos Who in Executives and Professionals
2002-2003
In 2003 formed ASR Associates, a consulting firm
Partnering Program, Construction and Management
Solutions for its clients.
Founder-member, past Chairman (2001-2002) and
Director (1997-1998) of NEDEA, NED Engineers
Association of Greater Chicago (established in
December 1996). Currently Member, Advisory Council,
NEDEA.
Married to Samina (BE Elect, 1980): my friend
of thirty and wife of 25 years. Blessed with three
wonderful and smart children: son, Ameed 23, (another
U of M graduate, BBA 2006) working in Business
Consulting, daughters Saleha 19, a pre-med Sophomore
at Northwestern University and Rabeya, 14, a freshman
in High School.
